About this episode

You may feel like your mistakes, your past, or even something that happened years ago has taken you out of the race. Like you’ve been dropped, broken, and left in a place of isolation. But here’s the truth—your seat at the table is still there.
In this message, Pastor Mark Ivey unpacks the story of Mephibosheth from 2 Samuel 9—a man whose life was marked by shame after being injured as a child, yet was invited by King David to sit and eat at the king’s table for the rest of his life.

This is more than a Bible story. It’s a reminder that:

God restores what’s been stolen
Your true identity is still intact
The table is a place of covenant and restoration
Community is where healing begins
We’re called to live connected—to gather in the “temple” and from “house to house.” Your healing and restoration may begin in God’s presence, but it will also continue as you open your life to others around the table.
Whether you’ve been hurt, isolated, or felt disqualified—Jesus is still calling you close. Your past doesn’t define you. Your seat is waiting.
