When the tide of God comes in it reverses the flow. Jesus cried out on the last day of the feast If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink and out of his innermost being will flow rivers of living water a direct pointer to the Holy Spirit. We also see why water and wine were poured together at the altar and how grace flows down through the Kidron into our lowest places. Then we pray for the fire of the Spirit like Acts 2 and celebrate water baptisms as a sign of new life.
