Lead Pastors & Founders
Mark & Tiffany Ivey.
Mark grew up in Houlton, Maine, in a family that ran hotels and restaurants, so he was working in them from the time he was a kid. He went on into music and radio, and graduated from Southeastern University. Tiffany grew up in a fishing village on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, in the commercial fishing business — farm animals, horses, and a house always full of siblings and cousins.
They met in 1990, on her twenty-second birthday, when Mark came through her church as a traveling preacher — and both of them heard, separately, that they were going to end up married. Mark sent her a letter in the mail, and soon after their first date, they were engaged and married.
They spent the next years on the road with Reality Outreach Ministries, touring a production called Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames that was put on inside local churches with volunteers from each congregation. They joined as the eighth team in 1993.
